Bake That Dough is a local bakery that prides itself on providing Knoxville and its surrounding areas with handmade, freshly baked, and fairly priced baked goods, cookie boxes, and doughs (shipping available). The owner of the bakery had done a considerable amount of work on her existing Point of Sale (POS) – Squarespace. While Squarespace is a great starter set for makers who need an all in one eCommerce system for in person and online sales – it does tend to have limitations when it comes to implementing your own brand and user experience.

a gift from the guy who calls himself the mayor
At the beginning of J-Bird, Jess worked part time at a local gallery, Lilienthal Gallery to ensure she felt empowered by her business and it’s growth – not rushed by it. Thus, she met a friend who called himself the Mayor of Emory Place (obviously, he was not the real mayor). With nothing but good intentions, when he heard of J-Bird, he wanted to gift our services to a friend and local baker in order to help her small business continue to grow and flourish. Thus; J-Bird was hired to assist with elevating the existing website to have a more distinguished brand, imagery of the baked goods, information about their offerings, and more!
