A kid’s centric mission & a Website to match
Muse Knoxville is a children’s Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, & Math (STEAM) museum in Chilhowee Park. Their programs bring STEAM, the arts, health & wellness, and emergent literacy to life in children’s minds, both within the museum and across East Tennessee.
Collaborating closely with the museum’s team, J-Bird immersed themselves in the interactive spaces and playful mission of Muse Knoxville, ensuring a deep understanding of their values and objectives.

Notable outcomes
Together, J-Bird and Muse Knoxville analyzed the existing site map, discussing pain points and envisioning a future website with features like a dynamic video header and dedicated pages for Annual Reports.
The new website boasts mobile-responsive design, a user-friendly event calendar, and a drag-and-drop editing system, empowering Muse staff to make ongoing edits and additions easily.
Since the launch, Muse Knoxville’s website has seen significant growth in traffic and user engagement, with reduced bounce rates indicating improved user experience.

The website features a video hero section, interactive forms, branded Lottie GIFs, FAQs, and an Accessibe widget for enhanced accessibility.
